Colebrooke Church - The John Woolcombe Sillifant Window

This window in the South chancel was erected in 1871 by J W Sillifant's second wife, Charlotte Louisa (nee Cochrane) who was born in the Tower of London. After his death she remarried to Col Charles Deacon.


The Sillifant coat of arms is displayed at the top, and the legend beneath reads:


"In affectionate remembrance of John Woolcombe Silllifant died Decr 19 1869"
